Fundraiser Update

I just want to thank all those who attended my fundraiser last night at Wellington Gallery, and made a donation to the Aurora Food Pantry.

Anyone who thinks that the residents of Aurora are not interested in municipal politics or don’t care about the community should have been there to take in the energy in the room.

When I decided to ask supporters for non-perishable donations to the Aurora Food Pantry in lieu of selling tickets, I didn’t anticipate such an overwhelming response.

It is amazing to see just how easy it is to make a difference where it counts.

It makes me proud to be part of a community that cares!

If last night is any indication, we are well on the way to putting the Aura back in Aurora!
